Water Ionizer
A water ionizer is a water treatment device that either raises or lowers the pH level of the water it comes into contact with by allowing electrons to be lost or gained. After running the water over positive and negative electrodes, the water is then separated into alkaline and acidic water as it passes through membranes. While alkaline water is beneficial for our bodies, acidic water is full of hydrogen ions and is best used for external body applications and plant growth.

With the use of a premium grade carbon filter made out of coconut shells, which has become standard on all water ionizers currently manufactured, dirt and other contaminants as small as 1 micron in size (or 15x smaller than a grain of sand) can effectively be removed. Hazardous chromates, sulfates, chlorine and other organics are also absorbed by the filter used with a water ionizer. The addition of silver to the filter used with a water ionizer will provide additional protection, as it has demonstrated antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties for more than a century.
